Khatchkar Monument

Steeped in Armenian culture and tradition, a beautiful Khatchkar (stone cross monument) stands adjacent to St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church in Surrey Hills, Victoria. This hand-carved stone monument, brought from Armenia, was generously gifted to the church to add a distinctive Armenian feature to its exterior.

In support of the community, HAGTA Group volunteered its services to erect the Khatchkar, working closely with representatives from the Armenian Church and committee members.
